Treasure Island is pleased to welcome Lidia Matticchio Bastianich, the host of Lidia’s Italy and the owner of Felidia, Becco, Esca and del Posto restaurants in New York and Lidia’s in Kansas City and Pittsburgh.

Lidia will host a special book signing for her newest book, Lidia Cooks from the Heart of Italy: A Feast of 175 Regional Recipes. The cookbook focuses on the regional cooking of the lesser known parts of Italy – Molise, Liguria, Umbria, Abruzzo, Calabria, Valle d’Aosta, Le Marche, Trentiono Alto Adige, Basilcata and Sardinia.

Books will be available on site for purchase. Come meet and greet Lidia and have her sign her fabulous new book, May 5th, 2010 from 5 – 7 p.m.
