Wine + Food Component Tasting #2

Thursday, May 29, 2008

The component tasting is the most original wine and food class you’ll find- and our most popular. We’ll pair simple foods with different wines to explore the hits and misses of wine and food matching. It’s a great way to learn about wine and the taste sensations created when it interacts with food on the palate. There will be plenty of food in this class so don’t eat beforehand!

Wine Class Details

Treasure Island is pleased to announce our latest series of wine and beer classes- the most imaginative, fun and educational in town! The wine classes are designed and led by Wine & Spirits Director Tracy Lewis Liang, one of Chicago’s most knowledgeable and experienced wine professionals. The wines are chosen from the international selection currently in stock in our renovated wine departments. The tasting themes are presented with your home entertaining and everyday cooking in mind: we’ll cover the wines, wine regions, wine making techniques, food pairing and serving ideas.

We hope you and your friends will join us for these fun and informative evenings! See this information and our Cooking School schedule at www.tifoods.com.
